Brad Hunt is President of Digital Media Directions and a digital media consultant working with clients in the consumer electronics, computer, television, and motion picture industries. His consulting has involved work in digital rights management, online content distribution, content fingerprinting & watermarking, high-definition DVD managed copying, PCTV, home media servers, digital mobile TV broadcasting, and 3-D home video.

Previous to Digital media Directions, Brad was the EVP & Chief Technology Officer for the Motion Picture Association of America. At the MPAA, he worked closely with the six major studios on content protection and anti-piracy initiatives and policymaking. Prior to the MPAA, he held the position of President & CEO of Cintel Inc., a manufacturer of digital film post-production hardware and software. Prior to Cintel, he was the SVP of Technology for All Post Inc., a Los Angeles based video post house where he established one of the first DVD authoring and MPEG compression facilities in the U.S. He also had a long career at the Eastman Kodak Company where he held jobs in research & development, marketing, international sales, and strategic planning and was responsible for launching Kodak’s Digital Motion Imaging Division.

Mr. Hunt has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. degree from the William E. Simon Graduate Business School at the University of Rochester. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and a Fellow of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers.

Chris Carey has deep experience in major studio film and video post-production. As Paramount’s Executive VP for Worldwide Technical Operations, he was immersed in the strategic and technical sides of Hollywood’s digital revolution, and he helped lead the Paramount Digital Studio project, a transformational digital workflow plan. Earlier he was Chief Technical Officer for Technicolor, and spent 17 years at Walt Disney Studios in jobs including Senior VP for Worldwide Post Production and Senior VP for Studio New Technology. Chris is a member of AMPAS and SMPTE.

James Dunkelberger is currently the General Manager of Microsoft’s world-wide Product Release and Security Services team which is responsible for many aspects of Microsoft’s IP protection strategy.  He has worked at Microsoft for the last 15 years holding roles in Operations Management, IT, and Product Development.  For the last seven years he has been working in various aspects of product security including physical protection of IP both internal to the company and in the supply chain, anti-counterfeiting technologies and strategies, product quality controls, and product activation investigations/enforcement.
